Coaching Rugby League Rugby Union
Maxx has played rugby league for a total of 3 years. Max started playing for the club side “D.C. Cavalry in 2023, and still plays there today. Max was a part of the team when they won the National championship in 2024. He made his international debut for the U.S.A. Hawks in December of 2024 against South Africa, in which the Hawks won both games. Ma now has three caps, including the two games against South Africa and one against Greece in February 2025.

Max has played rugby union since the age of six. His father founded Fort Hunt Rugby, which remains an active club to this day. Max has played rugby union in a total of 18 countries, played professionally for four years, and played for roughly two dozen teams. He still plays rugby union today, as he is the current captain of the U.S.A. South Panthers and actively plays for his local club, NOVA.

Max was selected to be the first-ever exchange student to travel to Cork, Ireland, to play

Started every game but one as a freshman, selected for all conference Fall 2016.

If you or your child are interested in some one on one coaching, I am happy to help. I can do 60 minute, 90 minute, and 120 minute sessions. Please email me for availability.

If you would like to do a small group session (2-10 players), I am happy to oblige. These sessions can be focused on positional groups (forwards), specific skill sets (tackling, handling, team building), or just an overall session. Please email me for more information.

Whether you need a coach to fill in while your primary coaching staff is away, or a guest coach, I am happy to fill the role. I am comfortable leading team sessions by myself, or as a guest coach working with the primary staff. Please email me with request details.
